the counselor
I am married with 3 children and know the joys and challenges of raising kids and have experience with helping strong willed children. We have a lot of fun yet know life is stressful and hard. I want to help others find freedom and nurture my client's ability to grow and develop. I am passionate about people living a more full life no matter what you have gone through or what your struggles currently are.
I focus to stay present and encouraging to help heal the Big Traumas that wound us and also the small traumas that come to each of us by living life. EMDR is a powerful therapy to help re-process adverse life experiences that impact everyone. I am passionate to help children process their feelings and gain new skills to navigate life situations if parents have divorced or separated, coping skills to help with ADHD, and build social skills to increase confidence to navigate relationship skills, anxiety and depression.
I am passionate to help adults with life transitions and to help others find purpose, people and passion to find joy in living. I know therapy is not an instant fix but gradual long term changes from the inside out.
I am also an adjunct professor at a university in Tulsa teaching counseling classes constantly learning and growing while serving the community.
